Location:
The Town of Florence is located in Oneida County north of the Town of Camden and south of the Town of Osceola. County Route 70 runs through the center of the town from southeast to northwest. The Town of Florence sits in the middle of four State Forests with the Tri-County State Forest to the north, the Big Brook State Forest to the east, the Mad River State Forest to the south, and the Florence Hill State Forest to the west.
